BarnardoÍs transforms the lives of the most vulnerable children through the work of our projects, campaigning and research expertise. As one of the UKÍs leading childrenÍs charities we work directly with over 200,000 children, young people and their families each year, running over 900 projects across the UK. BarnardoÍs aim is always the same; to bring out the best in any child, no matter what they have done, or what they have been through, as well as reaching and helping those children and young people whose voices are unheard. Our work includes helping children without families find loving homes through fostering and adoption, supporting children who have been victims of abuse or sexual exploitation and offering vocational training for young people no longer in mainstream education or employment. Our vision is that the lives of all children and young people should be free from poverty, abuse and discrimination and we depend heavily on the generosity and support of the public to continue to expand this vital work.
